Consisting of 71 head of milk cows, of
which 20 have freshened in past 60 days
(10 first calf), 5 dry cows, balance in diffe
rent stages of lactation, 10 bred heifers to
freshen by Nov. 1; 19 breeding age heifers,
6 yearling heifers, 13 started heifer calves.
Service age Valiant Son, purebred, but not
registered. Seven mature cows are regis
tered & several heifers & calves eligible for
registration.
This is a home raised herd of well
uddered, mostly young cows w/plenty of
dairy character & out of top ABS & Sire
Power A.I. sires such as: Jason, Frosty,
Gold, Milkmaster, Jet Stream, Chairman,
Creek & Spirit. A well producing herd with a
herd average of 17,000 lbs. on last test 8
mo. prior to sale. Bangs & T.B. tested for
interstate shipment.
Feed: 1500 bales alfalfa, 2500 bales wheat
& barley straw. 50 round bales alfalfa, 40
round bales of clover, 20 round bales
