    Records Achieved At Potter
County Livestock Sale
COUDERSPORT. (Potter)
Thirty-five animals were sold for a
total of $14,297.42 at the annual
Potter County Junior Livestock
Sale held Friday, August 5, at the
Potter County Fairgrounds for the
biggest sale ever.
Grand champion lamb was
shown by Steve Snyder of
Coudersport and was purchased by
the Coudersport Theatre for $4.60
per pound. It weighed in at 122
pounds. The reserve grand champ
ion lamb was shown by Mark Sera
fini of Roulette. It weighed 117
pounds and was sold for $2.80 per
pound to the Jersey Shore Lives
tock Market
Grand champion hog was
shown by Brad Hoffman, Shingle
house. It sold for $3.20 a pound,
weighed 242 pounds and was pur
chased by Headwaters Farm
Credit
The reserve champion hog was
sold by Leo Cornell for $2.20 per
pound to First Citizens National
Bank. The pig weighed 197
pounds.
Brad Green, Shinglehouse, had
the grand champion steer, which
weighed 1,385 pounds and sold for
$1.23 per pound to First Citizens
National Bank. The reserve grand
champion steer was shown by
Alan Cornell of Genesee. It
weighed 1,115 pounds and sold for
