Dennis, and all three of the Wampler offspring, Andrea, Daryl and Stacy
are Involved in 4-H and the local FFA Chapters. The late Harold Wampler
purchased the 90-acre home farm In 1956. Shar-A-Dan Farm’s 78 Hols
tein herd carries an 18,500-pound milking herd.

Lycoming County
Beach family for 42 years. They have 213 acres where they raise corn, oats
and alfalfa. Their 30 registered and grade Holsteins average around 600
pounds of butterfat. Russell and his wife, Ernestine, do most of the farming.
But sons Gary and Larry help In busy times like hay making.

The Ridge View Dairy Farm of James and Helen Luckenblll, Montgomery
in Lycoming County, has 87 acres. In addition they rent another 42 acres. 40
Holstein milk cows are housed in a stanchion barn and they have a total of
70 dairy animals. The farm that’s about one tenth of a mile away from the
borne farm was purchased 14 years ago and James and his brother work
together with the field work.
