From the road the view of the this 106-acre farm is breathtaking. “You
can see the whole farm from the road,” said Helen. Pastures in the back
frame the buildings more than 100 years old. The farmhouse is said to be
one of the oldest in the area at 175 years old and its woodplanks and
wooden-peg construction are evidence of that. In March of 1988 the farm
celebrated its 95th year In the Epplnger family. It's well on its way to join
ing the prestigious list of Century farms.

The Wilson Dairy Farm has been home to John and Carolyn Wilson for
the 31 years of their 40-year marriage. (This couple celebrated their 40th
on July 30.) Sons John, Bob and Tom work full-time on this 150-acre
farm. The 50-head Holstein herd averages 20,000 lbs. and 700+ lbs. in
butterfat production.
