goat show will be added to the list
ing of events at the 1988 North
American International Livestock
Exposition. Harold Workman,
executive director of the NAILE,
also has confirmed that Bill Bell of
Taylorsville, KY, will be dairy
goat superintendent, and Judy
Schad of Pekin, IN, will be assis
tant dairy goat superintendent.
The dairy goat show will be one
of the first events to take place at
the 1988 North American Interna
tional Livestock Exposition, with
dates set for November 5 & 6. The
show is sanctioned by the Ameri
can Dairy Goat Association.
According to Messrs, Workman
and Bell, total premium money for
the first year will be $4,705. Mr.
Bell also noted that several major
goat breeds will be represented at
the 1988 NAILE, including:
Alpine, La Mancha, Nubian, Ober
hasli, Saanen, and Toggenburg.
Recorded grades will also be
included in goat competition,
