There will be a reception at 7 p.m: and the pageant begins at 7:30 p.m. followed by an Sun Dairy Princess Pageant DANVILLE (Montour) The SUN Dairy Princess Pageant and Promotion will be held June 18 at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Shamokin Dam. The pageant will begin at 7:30 P.M. in Boscov’s Auditorium. The contestants are Kathy Jo Wolfe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wolfe, R.D.#l, Milton and Rebecca E. Cromis, daughter of Elizabeth Cromis, Washington ville and James Cromis, R.D. #l, Danville. The contestants will be involved in the promotional and contest activities during the Dairy Week, June 13-18. The Dairy Princess contestants will be judged on their pose, maturity, speaking ability and knowledge of the dairy industry. A fashion show will also be a part of the contest Paul Cavanaugh, an announcer for WKOK radio station will serve as the contest’s Master of Ceremonies. The Dairy Princess will be involved in numerous educational programs, shows, fairs, store promotions, and other activities to promote the dairy industry and products.
