CO.) —Future Farmers of Ameri
ca Grassland Chapter members of
Garden Spot High School honored
members of the community and
fellow FFA members at the 14th
Annual Awards Banquet held at
the Blue Ball Fire Hall on Friday
evening, April 29.
President Mike Lindenmuth
presented the highest award a local
chapter can bestow to members of
the community who have sup
ported and assisted the FFA chap
ter in achieving its goals. Honorary
Chapter Degrees were presented
to:
•Harold and Tom Wentzel: The
Wentzels arc the owners of the
dairy farm on which the chapter’s
cattle crossing and stream fencing
project is taking place. They are
dairy farmers and strong suppor
ters of the Grassland FFA’s Build
ing Our American Communities
Project.
•Jack Hubley; Host of the Call of
the Outdoors and Sunday News
Outdoor Columnist Hubley was
thanked for his coverage of various
chapter activities over the years
including the Lancaster County
Conservation School, the Envir-
Olympics and several Building
