Exposition in Kentucky.
Lisa Burdett, 19, of South Ger
mantown, and Susan Knapp, 17, of
Goshen, were members of last
year’s winning Montgomery
County team, which placed eighth
in the national contest. Lisa and
Susan were coaches for the 1988
state champion junior and senior
teams.
Lisa’s brother, D.j. Burdette, 14,
was a member of this year’s state
champion senior 4-H dairy bowl
team. Other members were Krissie
Smith, 17, of Gaithersburg, and
Donna Johnson, 16, of Damascus.
Members of the junior 4-H team
were Matthew D. Day, 9, of
Damascus; David McKeever, 11,
of Laytonsville; Amy E. Savage,
14, of Old Germantown; Christo
pher W. (Chip) Savage, 13, of
South Germantown; and Anna
Waterman, 11, of Clarksburg.
Other placings in this year’s 4-H
dairy bowl contest were. Seniors;
1. Montgomery County, 2. Cecil
County, 3. Carroll Coulny;
Juniors: 1. Montgomery County,
2. Howard County, 3. Kent
County.
