Hamilton has been big on shows since 1939
when we first exhibited at Farm Show. That was our
second year in business. We’re still there.

Today, wc arc the show people for 40 manufacturers
and the hundreds of dealers who carry their lines.
A big first in 1946 for Hamilton and farmers alike
was an elevator that could handle either grain or
baled hay. The firm sold out in 1986.
A few years later wc introduced the first front end
loader on the cast coast. Along about that time we
were also first with a backhoc. Wc saw farmers and
contractors buy 1253 of them in 1956 alone. That
says something about the impact of shows.
