Pa., are strong believers in neighborlmess. And that has made them strong believers in Hardy Brand corn hybrids. "The reason we decided to try Hardy was because of what the neighbor said. He said he didn't have a measure of the yields, but all he knew was that it filled the silo fast," Tom said. "So we tried it, and he was right." Was he ever. "That was the first time I had to ride the clutch chopping corn silage. It was that heavy," Tom reported. Their field of 760 XS produced about 32 tons of silage per acre in a county where the average yield is closer to 18 tons. Meanwhile, their 370 XS yielded so well for gram that a four row combine could only take two rows at a time. "That was all the machine could handle because the corn was so heavy," Tom said. „ . The 370 XS yielded 2.400 bushels of 24% moisture shelled corn off of 10 acres, while 760 XS. 797X5. and 545 XS yielded 222 bushels, 204 bushels, and 188 bushels per acre of dry corn. Because of their experience last year, the Telesz dairymen will plant all of their corn acreage with Hardy Brand hybrids this year. “We were very happy with the grain yield and very happy with the silage yields." Tom said. "We ll plant more of it." Hardy Brand Hybrid Corns are varieties for these times, when reduced acreage and slimmer profit margins are your big concerns. We’ve builtastrong reputation on our outstanding yields, supenorstandabilrty and high disease tolerance. Get the best return on your investment. Go with Hardy Brand!
