GLANCE:
Pricei were unchanged to lower in New
England, parti of the Midweit and South
ern California, balance unchanged. The
market tone was unsettled and steady at
best Cartoned egg demand was fairly good
where featured, slow to moderate else
where. Loose egg movement continued
light for the ample offerings. Supplies of all
sizes were adequate to ample and surplus
graded and ungraded were offered into
breaking channels. Breakers remained
selective under an about steady market
tone. Spent hen offerings were fully adequ
ate to ample under a steady market tone.

sentiment was about steady. Trading activi
ty was slow and disappointing. Offerings of
raw materials were fully adequate to main
tain desired processing schedules. Most
breatkers worked on previous commit
ments with floor stocks in good balance to
easily handle current inquiry.
