The program, which opens with
registration at 9:30 a.m. in the
President’s Lounge of central
dining hall, is sponsored by Alfred
State College and by Cornell
Cooperative Extension Services in
Steuben and Allegany counties.

Alfred College Hosts Extension Dairy Day

will be three simultaneous sessions
starting at 10:30 a.m.
The speakers and their topics:
Davis Hill, cooperative
extension agent for Steuben Coun
ty, “Balancing Farm Resources.”
William Menzie of Ithaca,
Cornell Cooperative Extension
regional dairy specialist, “Raising
Dairy Replacements.”
Calvin Carter, Live Cattle
Program manager with Taylor
Packing Co., Wyalusing, PA,
“Dairy Beef.”
The three sessions will be
repeated at 11:30 a.m„ according
to Professor W.A. MacDonald
who is coordinating the program
for the college.
Topic for the afternoon session
will be on Employee Management
and will feature four panelists,
three of them graduates of Alfred
State College.
