A22-Lancaster Fanning, Saturday, February 6, 1988 75 Years Of Holstein History Showcased i, LANCASTER Registration for the 1988 Pennsylvania Hols tein Association convention will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23 and continue until 6:00 p.m. The 75th anniversary conven tion is being held at Willow Valley Family Resort and Convention Center, Willow Street, Lancaster County on February 23,24 and 25. The South Central Convention District is hosting the event. The Dairy Bar will open at 11:00 on Tuesday morning to wel come visitors, and the first event will be tours to Ford New Holland and Atlantic Breeders Coopera tive, and the People’s Place in Intercourse, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Throughout the convention there will be a room showcasing memorabilia from the past 75' years. Anyone who has items to contribute should contact Steve and Debbie Cornman, at 258-3166. In addition to featured speaker Dr. John McCormack, columnist for Hoard’s Dairyman magazine, the business meeting will have a slide presentation on the past 75 years. McCormack is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Wednesday evening will be a highlight with the convention ban quet, featuring the singing group Re-Creation, and Hall of Fame presentations.
