Whip-O-Will Farm of Mocksville, N.C., led Monica, a September ‘B5 daughter of HH Jedi 60R, to the grand champion heifer title. In the 58-head bull competition, Blameystone came out on top for Shamrock Polled Herefords, Santa Monica, Calif.; Euer Hereford Ranch, Folsom, Calif., and Gerald Dalrymple, Pacific Palisades, Calif. Their win ner is a March ‘B5 son of Enforcer 107 H. Mohican Polled Hereford Farms, Glenmont, Ohio, received the junior calf and reserve grand champion heifer banner on Sara 414 W. The FCF Magic 433 daughter was calved in January. Bill Holloway of York was the judge for the event Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, Mechanicsburg, purchased Kim Hopples’ 1.265 pound grand champion steer for $2.10 per pound. Hoss’s also purchased Sta cy Suffel’s 1250 pound reserve champion steer for $1.58 per pound. The champion market lamb in March.
