Getting Ready For ‘BB
BY CAROLYN IHLSDON

COCHRANTON, Pa. Fair
time may be temporarily out of
mind for most Crawford County
residents, but it is uppermost in the
minds of 4-Hers with steer projects
as they prepare their animals for
next year’s fair competition.
According to the county’s new
livestock rules, two sites were set
up for weighing, implanting and
branding next year’s project ani
mals. Thirty-four 4-Hers took
advantage of the branding site at
the Bob Rose Farm on Saturday,
November 21. Next chance? FFA
and 4-H members with steer pro
jects yet to be weighed, implanted
and branded can go to the Craw
ford County Fairgrounds on Satur
day, December 19, from 10:00
a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
