cattle, is scheduled to be held at the
Gap Fire Hall on December 9,
December 16 and January 5. This
is a three-day, comprehensive
school designed to cover a wide
range of topics such as: under
standing basic reminant nutrition,
forages, preservatives, dry matter
intake, fiber, protein quality, pro
tected carbohydrates, fats and oils.
A swine seminar on efficient
feeding will be held Monday, Dec.
14, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at
the University of Delaware
Reseach and Education Center in
Georgetown, Del.
The seminar, which is spon
sored by the Delaware Coopera
tive Extension System, is open to
both Delaware and Maryland pro
ducers. No pre-registration is
required.
The first half of the meeting will
