ACRES CORN UPDATE: Com over
bought conditions m futures ignited selling
interest today. These was no fundemental
news to maintain the rally. Deliveries post
ed against December slowed from Tues
day’s brisk pace Prices bounced off of lows
late in the session on commercial shpit
covering.
ACRES SOYBEAN UPDATE: Soy
beans futures settled lower but off of lows
as professional and commercial sellers
turned to buyers late in the session. A sel
loff in meal and lower crash margins pro
vided early pressure. Increased interest ir
January contracting and a quiet export pic
lure caused nervousness, leading to a cor
rection. Meal losses were magnified by
technical factors.
ACRES WHEAT yPDATE: Wheal
futures settled mixed with the nearbys pres
sured by profit taking canting a flight cor

ACRES CATTLE UPDATE: Dismal
cash news pushed cattle futures lower early.
Steady cash at midday prompted a small
rally along with commission house buying
in the differents. Panhandle tops today of
68.00 was countered by expectations of
lower dressed beef prices. Closes were
slighty higher with the December contract
loosing .07. Maricet ready cattle are in tight
supply, as indicated by a light slaughter
today, but product demand is by lack fol
lowing the holiday. Feeders posted 20-S0
poin gains on a higher trending avenge
feeder steer price.
