GETTYSBURG Benchmark
membership anniversaries and
producers shipping high quality
milk were recognized during the
Awards Luncheon at the annual
Middle Atlantic Division meeting
of Dairymen, Inc.
Honored for fifty years of conti
nuous membership with Dairy
men, and the former Maryland
Cooperative Milk Producers, were
Chester T„ Charles L., and
Richard L. Black, New Windsor,
Maryland..
Twenty-five-year continuous
membership honors went to 17
producers in the Middle Atlantic
division’s area. Recipients were -

I. Neiberl; David H. Marlin; Wil
liam E. and Frances M. Forbes;

High quality milk production
earned 28 members award recog
nition at three levels. Members
awarded quality honors must ini
tially meet all requirements of the
Division’s Honor Roll Program.
That includes a monthly Standard
Plate Count of less than 5,000 and
monthly Somatic Cell County
under 500,000. In addition, a
member may have had no antibio
tics, no suspensions, a Sediment
level of Excellent or Good, freez
ing point of .530 or better and have
shipped milk the enure month of
each Honor Roll period.

Atlantic District 32 To Meet
VIRGINVILLE Atlantic Dr. Paul E. Hand, Atlantic s

months, with inspection scores at
92 and above. Members on the
Honor Roll all 12 months, and with
inspection scores of 99 or 100, an
Excellence Award is presented.
Three division members earned
the coveted Quality Excellence
award. Recipients were Joseph B.
and Nancy J. Yoder, Salisbury;
Dan G. Dclp and Eva Dclp Cole,
the Dclp Farm, Whitcford, Mary
land; and Norman E. and Paul L.
Sellers, Panora Acres, Inc., Man
chester, Maryland.
Gold level certificates were
earned by eight Dairymen mem
