Farm consists of 52 acres total with 30 +/- tillable limestone soil, several
acres woodland and the balance in pasture. The modem dairy bam has 48
comfort stalls with electric trainers, Berg bam cleaner and lagoon. There is
a 4” vac line and 5 Bou-Matic milking units on 2” stainless steel pipeline,
Mojonnicr 800 gal. milk tank, a concrete stave silo 18x70 with Silo-Matic

RATES AND TERMS: Cash or terms of not less than ten percent
(10%) down payment with the remaining balance amortized over a
period not to exceed 25 years; or a period for which the property will
serve as adequate security; whichever is less. The interest rate will be
determined at the time of approval of the credit requested based upon
Farmer Program ineligible interest rate published in FmHA instruc
tion. The current rate is 11.00%; however this is subject to change
prior to approval.
ARCHEOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE: FmHA responsibilities under the National His
tone Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended 1980) require consideration of histone and
archeological resources In consultation with the State Historic Preservauon Office (SHPO),
it has been determined that there is a high probability that significant archeological sites may
be located on this farm property. Any future plans for land use change (including construcUon
-activity) must be reviewed by the SHPO. The purchaser agrees to implement and/or give due
consideration to the SHPO review recommendations, as required of a Federal Agency under
the regulation of the Advisory Council on Histone Preservation under 36 CFR part 800 The

ned out in conformance with the recommended treatments in “The Secretary of the Intenor’s
Standards for Rehabilitating Histone Buildings " Prior to the commencement of work, the
owner will notify in wnting the State Hi stone Preservation Officer of all alteration, rehabilita
tion of demolition which might affect the historical or architectural character or integrity of
the histone structures. The State Historic Preservation officer will be given ample time (30
days) to comment on whether the proposed work conforms to the recommended treatments in

LONG-TERM FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION MEASURES: The follow
ing measures arc recommended to meet FmHA mandates to conserve, protect and enhance
important resources and to fulfill the mandates of Executive Orders 11988 and 11990
1 1 hat the QuillapahiUa Creek and its adjacent wetlands be protected by a deed restriction
establishing buffer zones extending fifty feet into the properly from the ordinary high water
line Ihe buffer zones should be left in a natural vegetated state and should not be mowed
Access by livestock should not be permitted in the buffer zone except for reslncted areas for
crossing and watering Watering and crossing areas should not exceed lOpercent of the length
of the buffer zone
2 Representatives of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Service, the Pennsylvania
Fish Commission and the Farmers Home Administration arc permitted access to the property
for the purpose of insuring compliance with this deed restriction
