boar was purchased by William Herring of Schuylkill Haven.

Smith’s Hog Farm exhibited this champion Duroc
open gilt which sold to Glenn Ebersoie of Duncannon.
The champion Yorkshire open gilt was exhibited by
Mark Hall of Julian and sold to Paul Kyle of Ska
neateles, New York.
The champion Duroc bred gilt exhibited by Gus Par- <
lett of Airvllle, sold to Howard Selleck of Granville
Summit.

Ken Fetterolf of Centre Hall bought this champion Duroc boar from Dave
Holloway of Glenn Rock.
Yorkshire Association Honors Flinchbaugh
NEW FREEDOM—CIair Hin
chbaugh of Felton was honored
recently at the Yorkshire Associa
tion annual summer picnic held at
the farm of Steve Wilson in New
Freedom.
Members gathered to present an
award to Flinchbaugh in recogni
tion of his years of service and
dedication to the Yorkshire Club
while he served as president He
was also recognized for his efforts
to support and to promote the
Yorkshire breed of hogs.
Attending the picnic were Tom
Arnold of Lebanon, John Henkle
of Strasburg; Charles Hall of
Julian, club Vice-President; Joel
Stem, East Berlin; Mark Rehman
of Stewartstown; and Elwood
Houser of Lebanon, Club
President.
The champion and reserve of the Yorkshire market
hogs was purchased from Steve Wilson by William
Schaeffer of Lewistown.
Steve Wilson’s champion Yorkshire bred gilt from
New Freedom was sold to Frank Feeser of Taneytown,
Md.
