d4'-Lancasfer farming, Saturday,' 6, i.att/ - Schuylkill County Fair Raises $21,000 For New Fairgrounds The 1987 Schuylkill County Fair broke all records of atten dance with nearly 35,000 people visiting the fair, now in its fourth year. According to fair officials, about $21,000 was raised toward the $200,000 needed to buy the new fairgrounds in Summit Sta tion, formerly Happy Holiday Park. This sight is approximately 61 acres. The entries in the beef and sheep were up this year. Five of the ani mals were donated back to the fair. The grand champion in the market -steer division was Mike Otto from Friedensburg, Beth Bie bleheimer of Andreas won the market lamb grand championship.
