General Projects - Drill Team 1: Karen Keller and Cristel Donald both of East Lansdowne; Drill Team 2: Vicki Ellingswoith and Dawn Horn both of East Lansdow ne: Drill Team 3: Stephanie Keller Tops Corn Contest SAYLORSBURG A Mon roe County farmer won first place in the no-till division of the National Com Growers Associa- tion yield contest Rodger Nordmeyer produced 178.13 bushels an acre on his farm during last year’s harvest using Pioneer® hybrid 3352 and earned first place in the no-till division for the state of Pennsylvania. He out- yielded the second place winner by more than seven bushels an acre. This year’s winners were: in the Hunter Division, the Champion Horse was Vanity Fair ridden by Shannon Dowie, Lansdowne, Reserve Champion was Star of Wonder, ridden by Patty Major, Boothwyn. The Champion Hunter Pony was Teacher’s Pet ridden by Patty McLaughlin, Boothwyn. Reserve Champion was Plain Jane ridden by Marie Barrett of Glen Mills.
