Over 160 dairy animals repre
sented eight counties in the 42nd
Annual Southeast 4-H Dairy Show
at the Kutztown Fairgrounds, Fri
day, August 21. According to the
Holstein judge Leroy Fiance from
Wellsboro and Lori Sollenberger
colored breeds judge from Everett,
quality was represented in all
breeds representing Berks, Bucks,
Chester, Lehigh, Monroe, Mont
gomery, Northampton and Schuy
lkill counties.
Patricia Miller of Nazareth,
Northampton took both grand
champion and reserve grand
champion in the Holstein division.

In the top spot was her 4-year-old
M-Maplcgrove Valiant Sibyl,
sired by S-W-D Valiant. This ani
mal also won best udder in her
class. Taking the reserve spot was
Miller’s 3-year-old, M-

by Thonyma East Star-Twin which
was also selected as having the
best udder in her class.

the Holstein class was Jeffrey
Davis’ entry, an intermediate year
ling, Danview Pete Ginger from
Leesport, Berks County. In the

Craig Walton of Newton in Bucks

Troy Henricks of Phoenixville
in Chester County took the grand
champion honors in the Jersey
breed. His senior 2-year-old, Top-

old took the reserve spot. Top-O-
