Delaware County 4-H members
sold fifteen hogs and seven lambs
at auction, following their show at
the Delaware County 4-H Fair on
Saturday, August IS at the 4-H
Center in Rose Tree Park, Media.
The fifteen hogs, sold by the head
and not by thd pound, brought a
record total of $5140.00 an aver
age of $342.67 per hog. The
champion market hog, a crossbred
Duroc barrow shown by David
Trumball of Lima sold for $475 to
Culbertson Enterprises, Inc. of
West Chester, according to C.R.
Bryan, Jr., Delaware County 4-H
Agent. The reserve champion
shown by Kerry Boody of New
town Square was purchased by

the judge, who was Keith Bryan of
