SHBPPENSBURG Globe-
Run Sexy Darlene, a three-year
old Ocean-View Sexation
daughter captured all the top
awards at the South Central Pen
nsylvania Championship Show
August 10. Owner John Foster 111,
Petersburg, took home the Youth
Senior and Grand Champion tro
phies and the Senior and Grand
Champion trophies. His animal
was also named Best Bred and
Owned by Exhibitor. Darlene, a 91
point cow with an excellent mam
mary, has a two-year-old record of
20,000 lbs. of milk and 800 of fat.
As a three year old, she produced
111 lbs. of milk with a 4.6 percent
test on her high day. She was
named Grand Champion at the
Morrison’s Cove Dairy Show in
Blair County this month, and also
Grand Champion of the 4-H show
there. As a Senior Yearling, she
was nominated for All-American
honors, and was All-Pennsylvania
Senior Yearling in 1985. In 1986,
she was named All-Pennsylvania
Senior two year old.

Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand

In the Youth division, the
Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand
Champion titles were captured by
Maybia Miller Farm Willow Suzi,
an aged cow owned by Holly Wel
ty of Mt. Joy. A 90 point cow, Suzi
was Grand Champion of the Lan
caster County 4-H Show in 1987,
and Grand Champion of the New
York State Southern Tier District
Show in 1986. At 6 years and 8
months, she produced 34,000
pounds of milk in 365 days with a
four percent test and 1400 pounds
of fat.

ity, a Senior Yearling heifer owned
by James and Nina Burdette, was
the show’s Junior Champion.

the quality of the cattle shown was
high and extremely dairy. “I appre
