A24-Lancaster Farming, Saturday, August 1, 1987 UNIVERSITY PARK A unique time capsule that represents today’s research and provides for research in the year 2087 will be part of the 1987 Ag Progress Days, on August 18-20. The College, of Agriculture Time Capsule celebrates the cen tennial of the Hatch Act, which established agricultural experi ment stations in each state. Pen nsylvania’s experiment station, now part of the Office for Research in the College of Agriculture, was established as part of Penn State a few months after the Hatch Act was passed by Congress. Penn State’s College of Agricul ture will dedicate the time capsule at the conclusion of Ag Progress Days, at Rock Springs outside State College, on August *2O at 2:30 p.m. The glass-domed time capsule will feature items symbolizing ( research in the college, and sam ples of such things as acid rain which can be more thoroughly analyzed by scientists of the next century. It will also include a $lOO, 100-year certificate of deposit, donated by People’s National Bank of Central Pennsylvania. I AM TIRED OF PAYING THE ELEVATOR TO STORE AND DRY MY CORN CROP. I WANT THE FLEXIBILITY TO SELL MY CROP, WHEN I WANT...WITHOUT MOISTURE DOCKAGE. (If you’ve checked one or more of these statements - read the following to find out how.) The one product that will satisfy all of these desires, is the AeroDry Grain Management System. AeroDry uses natural fan forced air, controlled by computer, to dry your corn. There’s no high heat, only, mother nature’s way of lowering moisture levels. AeroDry can save you up to 75% of energy drying costs. The natural moisture removal process provides less shrink and higher test weights. You don’t “cook” the quality out of your crop. AeroDry’s computer controls moisture levels day and night without baby-sitting. You make the profit the elevator makes, by selling your crop when you want - without moisture dockage. If you’re serious about making more money on your corn crop... you’ll call AeroDry before the fall rush.
