DILLSBURG—The Lancaster
County 4-H Junior Dairy Bowl
Quiz team placed first in regional
competition July 2 at Dillsburg,
York County.
The winning team members
were Jason Herr, Lampeter; Daniel
Bard, Conestoga; and team cap
tain, George Bard, Conestoga.
A joint Lancaster/Cumberland
senior team placed fourth.
George Bard was also recog
nized as high junior individual at
the South Central Dairy Judging
Contest, held June 25 in Dauphin
County.

Sept. 30,1987 for the next class of
14 students who begin in the prog
ram in March 1988. Students are
accepted only every other year for
the 24-month program, so after the
Sept. 30 deadline, prospective can
didates will have to wait until 1989
to apply for the 1990 class.
