SYRACUSE, N. Y.—Members
of Liberty Valley Cooperative
Milk Producers Association Inc. of
Liberty Valley, Pa., have recently
reorganized and have joined
United Dairy Cooperative Service
Inc. for assistance in improving
marketing of their milk and partici
pating in United’s maiketwide ser
vices. Their members will be ship
ping to Dietrich’s Milk Products
Inc. plant in Middlebury Center,
Pa. United has been able to signif
icantly increase the producer pay
price above the minimum allowed
by the Federal Milk Market Order,
the price usually paid to farmers.
Producer price premiums, qual
ity incentive bonus, and a bonus
program for maintaining constant
year round production, are prog
rams initiated by United to
Montgomery County Wins Dairy Bowl Contest

County 4-H Dairy Bowl team cap
tured the South-central Regional
4-H Dairy Bowl Contest, held July
2 at the Northern High School.
Team captain Tricia Curtis lead
her team to three straight victories
to win the senior division of the
contest. Other members on the
Montgomery 4-H Daify Bowl
team are Susan Curtis, Paul Geh
ringer and Cynthia Moser.
The Dauphin County team of
Steve Sheperly, Deb Shetterly,
Garthe Campbell and Tonya
Scholl placed second in the senior
division. York County placed
third.
In the junior division, Lancaster
