Kulp Family To Host Ayrshire Field Day POTTSTOWN - The Penn sylvania Ayrshire Breeders Association will hold their annual Ayrshire Field Day in Chester County at Eureka Dairy Farm, 1096 Spiece Hoad, Pottstown, on July 11. Beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until 2:30 p.tn., the day will include a judging contest for men, women and youth. Junior and senior production awards will be presented and the youth scrapbook contest will be judged. In addition to a short business meeting, there will be a discussion on ag legislation. Lunch will be provided by the Harold Kulp family. The Kulp family, Harold, Dawn, Susan and Ed, maintains a 100 percent registered Ayrshire herd with a DHIA average on 50 head of 13,736 pounds of milk, 530 pounds of fat, and 452 pounds of protein. The herd is housed in a free-stall barn and it is milked in a double-four milking parlor. The herd is fed with a New Holland shaker bunk feeder.
