PM Magazine Hosts Lancaster Dairy Royalty
Lancaster County Alternate Dairy Princesses Mary Witmer, second from left, and
Lorri Rutt, third from left, took their ice cream making skills to television this week as
they filmed a segment for WGAL's "PM Magazine.” PM Magazine producer Duane
Brozek said the purpose of the ice cream making spot is to get viewers at home thinking
of ice cream and, hopefully, to get out their own freezers.
The spot will be aired Tuesday, June 23 on WGAL Channel 8 starting at 7:30 p.m. In
the above photo, the dairy promoters show PM Magazine co-hosts Doug Alien and Nancy
Byrne how much milk is needed to create a perfect, creamy result, while cameraman
Max Zug zooms in for a close-up.
