At Spring Valley we stable over 100 horses. We follow the
Appaloosa Horse Show circuit with both amateurs and
youth. Our horses range from being in the top ten in the
nation to just good trail horses. Brown’s Feed is a quality
feed that is palatable, dust free and yet low in molasses so
that it flows. We travel extensively with our horses and, in
spite of the additional stress this creates on our horses,

I measure performance by how well our horses breed,
grow and develop. Dr. Kichura, Brown’s Nutritionist, took
my ideas on what our yearling <md mare feeds should con
tain, added some of his own and produced a feed that has
given us excellent response. Last year over 1000 horses
were stabled at Walnridge. In 1986, three of the top rated
Standardbred yearlings in the country were developed
here. Brown’s provides us with a quality product and
excellent service.
I have been training horses for ten years. I recently
moved to Pennsylvania and established Wenners Circle
Farms, a training and breeding stable. I board 35 horses
from three states and stand 2 studs including Diamond. I
use Brown’s Champion, Brown’s Sweet Horse and Brown’s
steam crimped oats. I purchase all three feeds bulk which
eliminates bag handling and provides substantial savings
over bag prices. I have no fussy eaters on Brown’s Feeds.
Growth rates on our yearlings are excellent and our horses
hold their condition. I like Brown’s steam crimped oats
because they are clean and more digestible than whole
oats. I also buy much of my tack at Brown's. They have a
tremendous variety of items and their prices are right.
