check to the scholarship fund of the College of Agricultural Sciences, University of
Delaware. The college is currently conducting a compaign to raise $1 million to endow
the fund. From left to right are Dr. David Wilkins, Dr. Gregg Hesseltine both graduates
of the university’s department of animal science; Dr. Donald F. Crossan, dean of the
college; Dr. Lynne Craine, DVMA secretary-treasurer; Dr. Tom Jeter, DVMA president;
and Dr. Alan Metz, assistant professor of veterinary pathology at the university. The
DVMA, a statewide organization of veterinarians, provides continuing education
programs for its members and considers the scholarship fund a form of community
outreach.
