The contest invited local dairy fanners and friends of the industry to submit recipes featuring one half cup of dairy products or more. The recipes have been compiled in a cookbook entitled “Our Dairy Best.” Although virtually impossible to name from among the entries a better or best recipe, entries were judged on creativity, taste appeal, appearance, use of dairy products and representation of the dairy industry. For each category which appears in “Our Dairy Best,” a winner was selected. The categories included beverages, soups, sauces, vegetables, cookies, pies, frozen desserts, appetizers, salads, quick breads, yeast breads, Thanks and Congratulations to ELMER STOLTZFUS and FAMILY • (GSI) Feed Bins L.B.MHITE * gpp Shenandoah Gas Brooders •cfi Plasson® • jtetojj Agri-Lon Insulated Curtains ADA Announces Dairy Recipe Contest Winners entrees and desserts.
