Consists of 46 head with app. 15 fresh last 60 days, 12 dry due next 2 months. Balance
all stages lactation. Herd milking app. 50 lbs. per cow 3-8 3-9 butterfat test. 5 Reg. cows
mostly 3-4-5 yr. olds. A nice young well uddered group of cows mostly home raised.
Never pushed, DHIA records up to over 20,000 lbs. 2 Red White Holsteins.
Herd 2 consists of 51 head with app. 20 head Ist calf heifers recently fresh or bred back,
15 second calf due summer and fall + about 15 springing Ist calf due this summer. It
has been a while since we have had a Virginia herd. They do the job. Also app. 25 fresh '
and close springers. i
