futures closed sharply lower today.
Traders are expecting increased
daily slaughter due to hogs coming
to the market after this weeks
winter storm. Also weakness was
attributed to position evening
ahead of next weeks hogs and pig
report.
Estimated slaughter today was
287.000 compared with 279,000 on
Wed.
