calf heifers and cows. 20 close springers or
fresh cows, 23 heifers and cows in full flow of
milk, 4 heifers from 6 to 9 mo. of age. Entire
herd is calfhood vaccinated. T.B. and Bangs
tested and accredited. The herd is young,
nicely uddered with lots of potential, listed on
Dairymen Honor Roll.

year round production. 15 springing and short bred heifers and 16 open and
younger heifers.
R.H.A. 16,071 milk, 3.7, 592 fat. The herd has only been on test for one
year. This herd has been raised on this farm and shows a lot of future

Of the 110 cows, 40 have freshened in the past 60 days, 10 to freshen between
now and sale time, approx. 12 cows within 60 days.
The entire herd consists of approx. 35-401st & 2nd calf heifers. Most of the
animals are home raised and sired by ABS bulls including Segis, Chad,
Pistol, Ramses, Apollo J & Anticipation. Cows are presently in calf to ABS
sires including Jason, Frosty, Chris, Milk-Master, Anticipation, Apollo J.
This herd has been on monthly pregnancy check by Dr. Allen Garst with an
excellent set of freshening and breeding dates available.
HEIFERS: 28 bred heifers due in late summer; 31 head of yearlings, 6-12
months; 9 head 3-6 months; 10 started calves.
The milk cows are outstanding individuals with extremely good udders and
feet, and presently averaging over 50 lbs. of milk.
