exhibited it. I don’t know if we can
ever do that again, but I’m real
proud that the whole county

Coldsprings Farms received the
first place herd achievement
award. The herd averaged 21,119
pounds of milk and 757 pounds of
fat on 383. registered Holsteins, 331
cows were bred by the owner.
Peace and Plenty Farms captured
the second place award.
Coldsprings and Peace and
Plenty Farms won first and second
place, respectively, in the cow
family contest.
Maryland Sunset View Farms
Inc. garnered the award for
highest lifetime production. Their
13-year-old cow, classified EX-93,
has produced a lifetime record of
245,639 pounds of fat corrected
milk. Second place went to Peace
and Plenty Farms.
In the youth production awards,
David Slater received the award
for top 2 year old with the reserve
award going to Matthew Hoff.
Shane Schwartzbeck copped the
prize for top 3 year old. Roy Poole
took home the reserve prize for the
3-year-old class. lan Hoff garnered
the top 4-year-old and older award
with the reserve award going to
Matthew Hoff.
