This means we have a potential of a $4.00 break in the cash market between now and April 20th. ACRES CATTLE UPDATE: Cattle futures closed sharply lower today. The cattle futures gave up most of yesterday’s gain in a sharp sell off during the last few minutes. Feeder cattle came back down near last week’s lows closing sluggish. The cash market opened steady to $ .50 higher which ap peared to be a good start, but slowly deteriorated through the trading session, closing steady to | .50 lower.
