The Lancaster County Society of
Farm Women #22 met in January
at the home of Pat Landis, with
Millie Landis serving as co
hostess. Jim Diller, son of Society
member Ann Diller, spoke on his
experiences as a member of the
Youth Evangelism Service
sponsored by the Eastern Men
nonite Board of Missions. He spent
time in France on the short term
mission program.
Berks Society 11
Berks Society 11 held its first
meeting of 1987 recently at the
home of Ada Hibshman. Six
members were present.

There was a report on the state
convention. Contributions totaling
$5OO were made to the Doug Sen
senich family, Water Street
Rescue Mission, the 4-H
Therapeutic Riding program, and
the House of His Creation.
The next meeting will be Feb. 10
at the home of Nancy Witmer in
Millersville at 1 p.m. The program
will be presented by the Lancaster
County Coalition of the Chemical
People.
Members decided to hold a fund
raising bake sale in February at
Brown’s store in Hamlin.
The next meeting is set for Feb.

Extension Home Economists Elect

1987 during a recent meeting at Penn State's University Park campus. They are, from

county Extension office in Carlisle.
President Mary Weir presided
over a meeting attended by 26
members.
Members answered roll call by
stating how the Bible helps them in
