    Conference To Spotlight Ag Chemical Safety Laws
NEW CUMBERLAND - An
employer’s conference on the new
agricultural chemical safety laws
will be held March 19 at the
Sheraton Inn-West, New Cum
berland.
Farmers who have any
chemicals on their farm and who
have, or will have, even one em
ployee, should attend this con
ference, says Dennis Murphy,
executive secretary of the Penn
sylvania Agricultural Safety
Council. The Council is sponsoring
the conference.
The conference will help farmers
understand and comply with
Right-To-Know and the Pa.
Pesticide Control Act, and will
provide core credits for Private
Applicator recertification under
the amended pesticide law.
