unchanged. Trade sentiment was
mostly of a steady nature. Car
toned egg interest and nest run
trading was no better than fair in
some sections; fairly good in
others. Supplies and offerings were
adequate to fully adequate,
especially where mediums, large
and extra large were being offered
at attractive price levels.

Market Comment: Demand for
ready to cook whole birds and
parts was good for immediate
delivery as traders continued to fill
pipelines. Offerings on all items
were closely cleared to short. Less
than trucklot asking prices were
unchanged to one cent higher at 48-
58 cents. Live supplies were
moderate to mostly heavy.
Weights were desirable to mostly
heavy. Slaughter schedules in
creased only slightly and were just
moderate. However, several
plants were planning to operate on
Saturday. The undertone was
steady to firm.

from Delmarva was still in
sufficient to fill current orders;
however, offerings from the South
were available if desired. Cutlets
were well-cleared, and additional
product was very difficult to find.
Rib breasts and wings were tight.
Line-one breasts were irregular as
product from the shore was vir
tually nil, but some product was
available elsewhere. Legs and leg
quarters were short and wanted
