Courthouse, Honesdale. The speaker for the first session will be Stanley Lembeck, Penn State Community Planning Specialist His topic will be “Ad ministering the Zoning and Sub division Ordinance’’ and he will discuss the roles of local elected officials and planning commission members in subdivision and zoning ordinance preparation and ad ministration. The second session on Jan. 14 will be devoted to the topic “Municipal Role in Protecting Wetlands.” The speaker will be Edward Perry, Assistant Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He will discuss the Clean Water Act and point out how the law restricts development or destruction of any land which can be classified as “wetlands.” The final meeting on Jan. 21 will focus on the municipal role in sewage planning. Ronald Brezinski, Pennsylvania Depart ment of Environmental Resources, will discuss the role of the adopted sewage plan and the impact of the plan on proposed subdivisions.
