This is directly affecting the demand and price for your tobacco crop. Grading of your tobacco is more important this year, than in previous years. Prices will show greater fluctations between quality. It is vital that each producer sort tobacco by quality and color. Excessively damp tobacco will bring much lower prices. Most buyers are looking for specific grades to fill orders. Provide buyers with an acceptable product by paying closer attention to grading within the bales. Warehouses will be closed for the holidays. Will reopen the week of Jan. 5 with the following schedule.
