Market Comment: Demand for
ready to cook whole birds was
slightly improved in most quarters
but still no better than fair overall.
Offerings remained available and
fully sufficient to handle current
interest. Parts movement was
also improved and all items were
moving into better balance, par
ticularly leg quarters. Less than
trucklot asking prices were un
changed at 53-60 cents and product
was still negotiable in some
quarters. Live supplies were light

week holiday shortened schedules;
short for next week mainly due to
traders taking time off for the
hunting season. Finished product
sales ranged moderate to good.
The undertone was barely steady
