TOWSON, Md - The Middle
Atlantic Milk Marketing Area has
created a life-size poster of World
Class Women’s Tennis Player,
Pam Shnver.
Shriver, a Baltimore native, is
the first female athlete to be
featured on a life-size poster
developed by MAMMA. The
Shnver poster will be given out
Friday, Nov. 29 in the first
National Bank Cystic Fibrosis
Tennis Festival. All girls and
women who come to the Tennis
Festival will receive the poster.
On the poster Shriver is pictured
on a tennis court holding a carton
of milk, the slogan, “Milk. It’s
Fitness You Can Drink,” is
featured alongside of, her. The
poster is designed to encourage
girls and young women to
associate milk in the diet as part of
an overall personal fitness
program.
The First National Bank Cystic
Fibrosis Tennis Festival is
presented by the Baltimore Sun
and will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation. Pam Shriver is the
organizer of the event to benefit
children afflicted with the disease.

New Endowment Fund

dowment Fund has been
established at Penn State to assist
deserving students and to provide
other types of educational
enrichment, the Board of Trustees
learned this month.
The initial principal of $15,000
was accumulated from various
gifts and grants to the college.
