A report was given on the recent bus trip to Pearl Back’s home and FonthiU Castle near Doylestown. The crowded agenda included items from the executive board and last minute discussions and decisions about Farm Women’s Day, which was held Oct. 14. The following new officers were elected: vice president, Elsie Witmer; and recording secretary, Loretta Steiner. Esther Farrel, Elsie Witmer and Phyllis Lord won games and door prizes. Members of Lancaster Society 3 recently met at the recording studio of David and Alice Leininger, Denver, for their monthly meeting. On Oct. 15, members entertained their husbands with dinner at the Bear Den, Hershey, and a hockey game that pitted the Hershey Bears against Binghamton. Ten members attended the Lancaster County Farm Women Brunch at Willow Valley Oct. 14. The program at the last meeting was a fashion show.
