Master
Gardeners
Master Gardeners are
working in your com
munity. Depending on
the daily requests we
receive at the Extension
Office, Master Gar
deners will assist with
special gardening
projects. These projects
could include a large
nursing home garden
planting or help with a
backyard city-type
garden. They will assist
with garden club
demonstrations or
presentations or youth
programs with the
public schools, scouts
and 4-H.
Master Gardeners are
teachers, ad
ministrators, housewi
ves and retired in
dividuals. Without a
doubt, York County
residents will find the
Master Gardener
program a real valuable
and informative service
to the community.
For more information
on how you can become
a Master Gardener in
York County, contact
the Extension Office at
