This 88 cow herd consists of 41 head of Ist, 2nd & 3rd calf Hi-Grade
Holsteins that have freshened since July til present, 20 Springers will be
fresh in Nov., Dec. and early Jan. and the remining 26 head were fresh
from Jan. thru June and are safe in calf with due dates from Feb. 87 on.
These Holsteins are a well uddered, good producing herd that has been A-I
sired for the past 40 years and are sired by some of the top Select Sire bulls.
Also a breeding age Starfire bull from a high producing cow of this herd.
We are priviledged to sell this complete herd of Hi-Grade Holsteins for
Mr. W. Lee & George Norris of Libertytown, Md.
Also Featuring 10 recently fresh and soon to freshen 2nd, 3rd & 4th Calf
Hi-Grades Holsteins with high production records from the Mr. Dewey
Shaffer herd of Newville and several A-I close springers and breeding age
heifers from the good production herd of Mr. Mahlon Martin. There will be
local consigned fresh cows, close springers, open heifers and couple
breeding age bulls.
