craft table.
The group held its annual auc
tion, which was followed by
refreshments.
The next meeting will be at the
home of Nancy Starr.

begin at 10 a.m.. Elsie Matula will
be the speaker.

Lancaster Society 24 met at the
home of Mrs. Ralph Stoltzfus,
Akron, on Sept. 30.
The group held its rummage sale
Friday, Oct. 10 at the Conestoga
Church of the Brethren pavilion,
Leola.
Members received their tickets
for the county convention, which
will be held at the Farm and Home
Center Nov. 1.
The following new officers were
elected: vice president, Mrs.
Calvin Wenger; secretary, Mrs.
Roy Hollinger; and treasurer,
Mrs. Wilbur Mellinger.
The group will celebrate its 30th
anniversary with a dinner with
husbands at the Country Table
Restaurant, Mt. Joy on Oct. 28.

Members of the NoSoAnn 4-H
Dairy Club met recently at the
Lebanon Area Fairgrounds.
Dale Hoover explained
pedigrees and what makes a good
pedigree cow.
Treasurer Mike Balmer
reported that the treasury contains
$350 with an outstanding bill for
$25.
Sue Elliott was elected to serve
as chairman for the cookie sale.
