Dl4-Lancaster Farming Saturday, October 11,1986 Virginia Girl Wins Junior Stockman Award HARRISBURG - A 15-year-old Virginia girl has won the coveted 1986 Keystone Junior Stockman of the Year award by outscoring 29 other FFA and 4-H competitors in the junior livestock and meats judging contest at the 30th Keystone International Livestock Exposition. Angela Craun of Mt. Crawford took the title with a 739 point score and a 19 point margin over the second place finisher, Joann Rishel of Seven Valleys, York County, PA. A teammate of Angela’s, David Seekford of McGaheysville, VA, finished third in individual com petition with a 702 score. Their team, Spottswood FFA No. 1 of Spottswood High School in Penn Laird, VA, achieved the top overall team score. In winning the championship, Angela earned herself a trophy and a $5OO Savings Bond.
